Wood burning stoves are deigned to burn only wood & timber and are very efficient. They are quite capable of burning in to the high 80% efficient range. Lots of wood burning stoves are available with a multi fuel kit that can be purchased at the same time or at a later date if required Wood burning stoves are incredibly attractive to watch & you have the added advantage of burning a sustainable heat source & have a low carbon foot print. You will need a class 1 chimney or flue system for a wood burner or multi fuel stove. No chimney? - No problem! we can generally give you a quote for putting a Class 1 flue system in your home so that you can have one of these fires. It is also a legal requirement to have ventilation in the room if the output exceeds 5kW & you must have a carbon monoxide detector in the same room as the appliance.
