As the weather turns cool, families and friends traditionally gather around the fireplace to bask in its comforting glow. Make your home an oasis of warmth and light with this Dimplex Petaluma LED electric fire. This electric fire features clean lines with the simplicity of a one-piece cast front and frame. Its metallic silver finish makes it an elegant and complementary addition to any decor. This Dimplex electric fire features the Optiflame electric flame effect. Originally launched by Dimplex, the same company responsible for producing this fire, Optiflame has become an international presence in the electric fire market. Since the electrical flame effects appear to originate at the centre of a generously deep fuel box filled with real coal and white pebbles, this unit provides all the beauty of a flickering fire with or without heat. A 2kW fan heater with two heat settings provides cosy warmth without any concern over stray embers causing a fire. This unit fits into a standard fireplace opening with conventional flue types and measures just 55mm deep. Freestanding configuration is also possible by attaching the provided spacer. With LED lights installed within this stunning electric fire it also represents a low-cost alternative to expensive fossil fuels.

- Very heavy fire
I wanted a nice chrome fire and this one was of really heavy cast material. Looks amazing and is exceptional quality. Love it.
