Providing a little extra heat in your garden can make it possible for you enjoy a glass of wine in the evenings, extending the time you can spend in your garden until long after the sun has gone down. Gas patio heaters have come a long way over the past few years, giving you the ability to provide heat to around 200 square feet of your garden. These heaters are generally suitable to be used with an external gas bottle, and come complete with safety features.

The days of worrying about how long it will take for the charcoal to be ready for cooking on when you are hosting a barbecue are long gone, with the next generation of gas barbecues giving you heat on demand and almost no delay before you can start cooking your sausages. Another benefit with using a gas barbecue is the ability to regulate the temperature, vastly reducing the risk of having food which is burnt on the outside and raw in the middle.

A relatively new addition to the suite of outdoor living ideas is the outdoor pizza oven. Outdoor ovens are designed to reach temperatures far higher than a conventional oven, with their 550C reducing the time it takes to cook a homemade pizza perfectly to around 6 minutes.
